Im sharing a draft Standard of Work for the testing to be done. At this point, we are open to feedback, modification by Kasey or others as assigned, and questions. Kasey is also working on a fair hourly rate for your efforts. Your input is welcome.

Role-Based Testing: Admin, Moderator, Patient

1. Purpose

This document defines the scope, expectations, testing procedures, and success criteria for evaluating the Admin, Moderator, and Patient roles within the Winsights Social test environment.

It's an opportunity for you to meet Kasey and ask questions and for her to meet each of you.

Most recently Tom has agreed to join us in our testing effort. From Tom:

I am a retired school administrator (K-12). I have extensive experience in management. I have graduated with a BA in Psychology, and a M.Ed. In Special Education.

I am an avid amateur bird photographer.

Ok- i think we need to pause this until we come up with more structure. I love that we are actually beta-testing the beta-testing process. That will be a priority to discuss next week. I think we need to pause for now- This is from Sid:

I wanted to make a small but important suggestion regarding how we handle testing across both applications.

From my experience, testing with personal or real user IDs tends to create downstream complexity especially when it comes to data segregation, cleanup, audits, and future migrations. Over time, it becomes difficult (and sometimes risky) for database admins to reliably distinguish real data from test data if testing isn’t done using clearly designated test identities. (attaching an example of how it is stored in our system)
