Hello, I’m Tom and I recently reached out to learn more about my HSP. My neurologist has diagnosed me but I have not been genetically tested yet. I am in the process of getting tested now. I am 74 and in the last few months I have noticed my walking has started to become much more difficult. I have had several falls recently and now I’ve started using a cane with a quad tip to help stabilize my mobility. In addition, my memory is starting to fail and the pain has increased in my legs and feet.

I now realize many, many of you have a much more serious condition than me. My heart goes out to all of you courageous fighters.

I was feeling down and sorry for myself but now I am encouraged and feel supported. Thank You!
